David is a practicing Australian Social Worker with over two decades of experience and post-graduate qualifications.  He has held clinical and professional positions at Western Australia government and non-government agencies.  These include the Western Australia Country Health Service, Perth Tertiary Hospitals, DonateLife WA, Mofflyn (Uniting Care), Centacare, and Relationships Australia. 

As an experienced Social Worker, David has worked in diverse specialties in health including palliative care, aged/geriatric care, general medicine, organ donation, and emergency care.

As a skilled counsellor, David uses strength-based, holistic, and person-centred approaches to support and help clients come to find optimal solutions for various situations and circumstances.

Drawing on this background in Social Work, David considers the ‘person-in-environment’ perspective, and looking at the ‘bigger picture’ while addressing the immediate concerns of the client.

REMITTANCES

Here’s David’s standard fee structure:

  • Client Counselling Sessions  $135
  • Clinical Supervision Sessions  $150

Please remit via EFT, Visa, Mastercard, or Bank Transfer.  For consultancy services, please contact David to discuss your requirements and to get a quote for these services.

HEALTH FUNDS

Private Billing Only.  Medicare and Private Health Insurance Fund rebates do not apply.

APPOINTMENTS

Please note that the full balance of your payment is required before the first appointment.  Also, please allow at least one full business day for any cancellations to be processed. 

Bookings are usually confirmed within one full business day.  All messages from the Contact page will be acknowledged within two full business days. 

In emergencies, please call me on 0401-260-102.  If the emergency concerns your safety or the safety of others, please contact emergency services immediately.

DISCLAIMER

David has part-time employment with the Wheatbelt Specialist Palliative Care Service (WSPCS) in Northam, Western Australia.

Current patients, clients, and other recipients of WSPCS are not able to access services through David Easton Counselling due to potential conflict of interest concerns.
